Software Engineer for Digital Post Production Software
Job Description
Develop software products supporting digital post production applications.
- Develop modules for digital image processing applications:
- Editing
- Compositing
- Color correction
- Spatial processing
- Data management
- Restoration
- 3-D applications
- Software design and coding in C++, OpenGl, QT
- Operating systems are Linux and MAC
- Use of development tools (ClearCase etc.)
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Experienced (3+ years) C++ programmer
- Experience in software development for products, with involvement from concept phase through delivery
- Experience developing for Linux and/or Macintosh platform
- Knowledge and experience in image processing
- Parallel processing, distributed processing, real-time application development
- QT and/or ClearCase experience helpful
- Background in OpenGL; general purpose GPU programming and 3-D experience a plus
- Experience with compositing, editing, restoration and/or paint packages a plus
- Knowledge of digital film workflow a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- English language skills
