Bones Operations Training

Who should Attend ?

This course is designed for Colorists as well as Tape, -Telecine and Software-Operators in the post production industry who require a good operational understanding of the Bones Open Post-Production Software.
Normally held on-site, this training is also available in the factory

Prerequisites:

Participants should possess a basic knowledge of Linux and how it is operated (e.g. file structures and navigating through directories etc.).

Course Content:

This 3-day course includes:

  • System Overview (Graphical User Interface and its layout)
  • Different Modes of Bones and their purposes (Acquire, Create and Setup)
  • Possibilities in Scan (Acquire -) Mode, e.g. EDL handling, Keycode Pull lists etc.
  • Frame and Clip editing using Bones' Create Mode, its capabilities, settings and controls
  • Setup and its general settings
  • Bones Open Post-Production Software
  • Workflow
  • Bones Color (optional)
  • Bones Scaler (optional)
  • Bones Repair (optional)
  • Bones Stabilizer (optional)

Benefits:

On completion of this course, participants will possess a good understanding of the Bones Open Post-Production Software and its functionality, and will be able to use Bones and its features in the customer’s post-production environment to full advantage.
