Spirit HD/2K/4K/Bones Data Masters Training

Who should Attend ?

This 3-day course is designed for experienced Colorists and Operators in the post production industry who would like to improve their operational skills with the Spirit HD/2K/4K Film Scanner, specifically for facility integration with Software or Hardware Color Correction systems.
With a focus on proper handling of the Spirit, scanning techniques, and other advanced options and workflow aspects.
This training is only offered on-site, where a fully installed and operational system is available.

Prerequisites:

Participants should have operational experience with Spirit and/or Data Scanning.

Course Content:

This 3-day course will be tailored to the specific needs of the client.
Some sample content may include:

• Advanced illumination and FPN verification.
• Advanced Focusing techniques.
• Setup for Different Scanning applications
• Workflow integration. (3rd party Hardware and Software Color Correction systems, SAN, Bones Data)
• Event List, Transfer Lists, KeyCode, EDLs, etc.
• Memory Store and recall functions
• Discussion of Techniques and Solutions for daily and special work.

The course will be taught on-site at the facility with direct interaction with Colorists and/or Transfer Engineers/Specialists by an experienced professional who is up to date with the latest techniques and has a wide variety of related experience and knowledge. The course will be tailored specifically to the client’s needs and workflow, with direct interaction with facility members to improve speed and output quality. Answering questions related to daily and special tasks and addressing issues that have been incorrectly passed down from previous experiences, or simply misunderstood.
